[acvpp] Re: Nothing To Sneeze At

Howdy

In line with the "germ warfare" threads how 'bout this one. Recently while
playing at the TP in AC I saw a roving cocktail waitress suddenly sneeze in her
free hand and continue about her business unconscious of the fact she was
now carrying more than drinks.

Would you have said something to her or someone of consequence or just chalk
it of to ignorance?

I have seen street vendors do the same thing. Are we all doomed to the
unthoughtfulness of others?

It's "snot" for me to say.

I see this type of thing all of the time. One time I ordered four
soft drinks from a fast food emporium. The server then proceeded to
carry the cups from the cup rack to the drink machine by putting her
fingers and thumbs into the top of each of two cups with two cups in
each hand. When I told her that I would not accept those drinks,
she got all mad and hollered at me. Her supervisor stood right
there and never said a thing to her (at least at that time)

Now if you want to think about it, in many smaller food
establishments the waiter/waitress also bus your tables. So they
are grabbing dirty plates and sticking their fingers into used
glasses and cups and dumping them into the dirty dish receptical.
Then they proceed to serve your plate to you using those same hands.
