My doctor just keeps adding weeks to the original rule of 'off your feet for
four weeks.' Last word was "I wanted weight off the foot for eight weeks
and that's fine.' When I get back from my August trip (Alaska cruise complete
and driving trip now under way) he promised to remove the door hinge that's
attached to the bone by internal/external pins and wires. Time will tell.
