I have found a version of Aces and Faces that I believe should have a
higher total return than 10/7 Double Bonus ... the game pays in credits
4000 for a Royal, 400 for 4 Aces, 250 for a straight flush, 200 for
Kings, Queens or Jacks, 125 for 2-10, 50 for Full House, 40 for a
Flush, 30 for a Straight, 15 for 3 of a kind, 5 for two pair, 5 for 1
pair. ... This 10/8/6 version ought to return significantly more than
10/7/5 Double Bonus( total return = 100.17) ... Here is my problem ...
when I enter this game into Win Poker and run the Game Analysis it
tells me that the return is only 95.82 ... What in the world am I doing
wrong?!?

Brian,
You didn't do anything wrong. The 95.82% figure is right on the money.
Why would you feel that this game should offer a higher return than 10/7 DB?
Just take a look at what your Aces and Faces game does to the quads. In
your game you are sacrificing 70% of the return on 2s, 3s, and 4s ( 125
coins vs 400). On 7s,8s,9s,10s, and As, you whack off 50% ( 125 vs 250 and
400 vs 800 respectively). Your only gain from this game is the one coin pop
on the straight and the flush, being 8/6 as opposed to 7/5. Indeed the
frequency of occurrence is high on both of these hands but you have quite a
lot of ground to make up at five coins a pop to compensate for the hundreds
of coins that you are losing on the quads.

I'm answering my own post again. I neglected to include that your AAF game
also chops 20% off from Js, Qs and Ks. The heat here may be affecting my
brain.
