The $1 10/7 DB with a progressive for the royal is no more. They took it out a couple of days ago. I also checked one 10 play and the $.25 BP was downgraded from 8/5 to 7/5.
With the daily multiplier maxed out at 5x points on VP, its time to say goodbye to Arizona Charlies and ride off into the sunset to find greener pastures.

I went there Thursday and checked every 10 play. Every one was downgraded in every game. All 3/5 plays also downgraded. They even took away the 10% discount at the cafe and Rons.

I just got back from a short visit to Arizona Charlie’s Decatur a couple of hours ago. Total VP devastation!
I did not check every single machine but I did check quite a few.
As others have stated, the $1 10/7 Double Bonus progressive and the Baby Deuces TDW are gone and the games on the All Star Poker machines downgraded.
All the 8/5 Bonus machines I found had either been downgraded to 7/5 or converted to “bogus bonus” which pays 150 for all quads instead of the usual 125/200/400.
I could not find any 9/7 Double Bonus or 9/6 Double Double anywhere either.
The best game I could find, even for very high stakes, was 8/6 Bonus Deluxe. So I converted all my points to free play and ran them through on this.
I did notice the casino wasn’t very crowded. Gee, I wonder why!!!
I doubt I’ll be darkening their door again anytime soon!
I agree. Went there yesterday for the weekly cash award and played off my points.
Will be going there only for the weekly awards and the “dividend” points at the end of the year.
FYI, there was some 8/5 BP in the high limit room on the newer machines.

I also got an invite for a meet and greet with the new general manager, the man responsible for all this. I don’t think I will be going.

This is exactly the time you SHOULD be going. Expressing your dissatisfaction in person is the best method. Wish I had a chance to meet one of these dweebs in person.
