Access Gold Card

I thought someone else posted about the Gold card offer at the EW/CB,
but I could not find it. If this is a duplicate, ignore this post. In
todays mail came a letter that said Congratulations! My play qualifies
me for a Gold card. It is good for a year, but I have to go pick it up
by Nov. 30th. Benefits? Looks like a lot of fluff---VIP hotel check in,
Priority room reservations, 10% off gift shop, and invitations to
special events are parties.

Also included in bold print: Free 3 night stay and $50 in Free play.

Full pay VP, free rooms, free play? I guess I need to get down to the
river before Nov. 30th.

I got the exact same offer you did, Chris, but only $20 free play. Bwahhhhh! Guess I'm not
cuttin' the mustard. Maybe that'll change when I get down there in two weeks. Haven't
qualified for the Gold card yet either. No soup for me!

Bob- I am a little confused by your post. My offer says I "AM"
qualified to receive the gold card. You say you got the same offer but
then you say you are "Haven't" qualified for the gold card. ???

I just wonder if they have plans to add a lounge type deal for the Gold
Card members a la Harrah's and the Aquarius? They may even have some
soup for you.

Yea sorry Chris I may've been a little bit vague. My offer was the same as yours only in the
respect that I also received the free 3 night stay, but only $20 free play instead of the $50
you got. Plus you got the gold card offer.

I had a casino host at CB tell me once (when it was still MGM) that it took something like
340 points per day to get the meal card. If that's true I guess I was always very close. But
I always play within my comfort zone and enjoy eating at different casinos anyway.

I appreciate your passing on that timely info about the $5 off CB & EW buffets by flashing
the Access card. I hadn't seen that anywhere and that's a pretty good bargain.
