AC player looking for Vegas room deals - any suggestions?

Hi all

I have a friend looking for reasonable rates for 2 rooms in mid
April. This friend plays at Bally sometime; mostly plays Taj. Does
anyone know if Bally would give casino rates based on AC play. They
have an offer for 3 free nights at Rio. However, when they asked for
second room, Rio quoted about $120 a night for second room. Seemed
kinda steep to me. Any suggestions would be helpful.

April 16-21 is the NAB Convention. About 100k extra people in town.
Good deals can still be found but might be hard to come by on the
strip. Better chance of off-strip.

Hi Bob

What is NAB? I guess it has to do with coin collecting.

I too will be there 15-23 April. It's nice to get comp rooms for
other than just gambling. I have nephew getting married on 16th. I
would have had to pay for rooms and eats had I not been a gambler?
Wait, I think there are many trips that I pay for those FREE rooms.

I go to at least one coin convention in LV every year but they only draw
about 5k, people wise. NAB is for National Association of Broadcasters,
or as I like to call it, the "Gathering of Egos". I have been going to
this convention every year for more than I care to remember. It is
about a 3,500 mile (one way) trip for me, so I only get back to my home
state 2-3 times a year.
