AA simple strategy

I've heard that somewhere is posted a simplified All-American strategy
that still captures most of the EV. Does anyone know where I can find
this?

Lucklily I'm pretty good at AA, but I'm trying to teach a friend.

I suspect John's friend may choke on the 60+ lines of that strategy.

It's really not a "simplified" version -- instead, it's the full
"basic" strategy (a fully accurate strategy that omits penalty card
considerations) and gets close to within a hair's breadth of
absolutely optimal AA ER.

There may be simplified strategy that's in the public domain.
However, the one that I'm familiar with was published by Skip Hughes
in the Feb. 2005 issue of his publication "Video Poker Player". That
strategy yields an ER of 100.6% vs. the 100.72% perfect strategy.

Because this is a proprietary strategy developed by Skip, it's not
appropriate for me to reproduce it here. However, by subscribing to
the next 12 monthly issues, you'll receive online access to the entire
back issue archive dating back to Apr. 1999.

It's a decent value for a strong reference.

You can check out the newsletter at: http://www.vpplayer.com/

There's an index of all past articles and you can immediately download
a sample past issue to get a feel for what you'll see. (Hint: I'd
really encourage to check out the sample issues!)

Harry;
Thank you for that recommendation! I think I should respond to that with a special offer for VPfree members. So, give me a couple of days to work out the details. Anybody here that has subscribed since your note will get a rebate to give them the same price as in the special offer.
Thanks,
Skip
