More on the AA burn-out in Harrah's KC. From a reliable source: There was a team from Las Vegas, 3 people, who played the $2 machine for a week. They stayed at Harrah's hotel and each took an 8 hour shift on the machine. They tied it up and played it constantly 24 hours a day for 7 days.
I am not that familiar with Missouri Gaming Commission regulations but I strongly suspect they only recourse Harrah's had was to take the machines down. Don't believe they have the same liberties with customers found in Nevada, i.e., "We don't like you playing here so hit the road." I also suspect these were high end players with 7-star cards and Harrah's wouldn't want to offend them anyway. So the machines were taken out of service. But Harrah's told the "source" they are going to bring back the AA machines. Just hope they are not short pay like in Ameristar.

Congratulations on the Royals!
I won't be able to get to Harrah's until the middle of next week, but
when I do I'll take a look upstairs and see what's happened to those
uprights with 9/6 JOB on them. I hope they're only dark so they could
be converted to TITO.
