AA at KC Argosy

The managers of the new Argosy casino in KC are determined they will NOT
offer FPVP.

The good news is that they have responded to customer feedback and turned on
the All American on the 12 GameMakers. The bad news is that it's the short
pay version (which I had never actually seen outside a VP book before now)
where 4-of-a-Kind is 150 credits instead of the usual 200. 98.49% according
to Frugal/WP6.

The other good news is that the surrounding casinos in KC don't seem to be
following Argosy's lead. So far.

Some of you may recall my reporting that the KC Argosy had added quarter AA
to their GameMakers, but shorted the pay scale (4-of-a-kind pays 150 instead
of the usual 200, 98.49% payout). I said I hoped the other casinos in the
area would not follow their example.

Well, I was at the Ameristar tonight and the AA there has been shorted the
same way, on both the quarter and dollar versions. Jerks.

Two casinos left in KC (Harrah's and Isle of Capri). My AA playing days may
be numbered....
