Occasionally posters ask about the consequences of playing Free play
through once, and not giving the casino any additional play, on the
same day that the FP is utilized.
I can now state, from personal experience, that since I did exactly
that, on my last Pepp visit, my latest FP mailer contained $100 X 2,
FP, instead of the normal $200 X 2. Additionally, the Pepp "Preview"
brochure mailer that was received today, had NO FP coupon at all.
Usually, that coupon was good for an extra $25-$50. The brochure did
contain other coupons which are good for free rooms and dining credits.
The generic quarterly "Preview" mailer that goes to all non-locals seems to have dropped the free play entirely, so it definitely wasn't your play that caused that.
Other free play may or may not have been affected by running your free play through that one trip with no extra play. I've done this many times with no bad effect, but I'm in Reno frequently enough that other play possibly covers for the times I've done this.
Many places use complex formulas for marketing mailers can include such things as total recent action, avreage daily action, average trip action, gender, win-loss, home address, etc. The Peppermill has recently cut back on many things, so agian, your drop in bounce back free play may or may not be related to your small play on your recent trip.
