Hi,
Mary( GF) and I will be in Las Vegas for seven nights this August.
We play in Atl. City during the year so our games are 9/6 jacks and
8/5 bonus at the dollar level. We don't care to try to learn any new
games for our once a year( sometimes twice in my case), visit. We
are obviously rec. players who feel that the Strip experience is a
large part of why we come to LV( hence local casinos are out).
Previously we have stayed in great rooms, sometimes suites, at
Bellagio for three nights( playing on one card) and then will switch
to Caesars Palace for four nights. As reported here, Bellagio has
taken out all dollar FPJacks and bonus play. TI had sent me a great
3 night offer( suite, limo $100 food, $500 free play) and we booked
it figuring we could play the four $ BP machines. Last week they
were MIA. What to do? We both really don't like Caesars( Mary says
its too large, I have never liked the attitude of their hosts). Of
course now that CP is Harrahs owned RFB is no longer a true comp and
RC's will be deducted for meals. We have a nice number of RC's from
our individual AC play. We do acknowledge the strong( for a strip
hotel) playing oppportunities there, but I'd rather be a larger fish
in a smaller pond. We are thinking Paris. I'm trying to hold out
for my summer offer from NYNY. Although these offers have shrunk with
each mailing, I'm still hoping for some food credit along with free
play in addition to room comp. Mary has suggested we stay at Paris
and then move to Caesars. CP has a digital cam corder offer during
the time we'll be in LV. Mary has also suggested that we keep at
least one night in TI, check in( even though we'll be staying
someplace else), and just take advantage of the food offer and free
play. Ethically not right but play wise ? Also if we were to stay at
TI and play at NYNY( Mary said lets cab it) would my play at NYNY be
recorded at TI and what affect would it have ( if any) on our TI
stay? An advance thanks to any who have waded through this and care
to offer an opinion.
