A VP Day Tomorrow

I'm taking off work Thursday at 11:00 a.m. and doing some VP
hopping.

First I'm going over to Windsor Casino to get a $75 voucher out
of the kiosk that they've offered me and play dollar Pick'Em (the
only decent game left) until I either win or lose a hundred. I'll
try to get a free lunch also. One of these days I'll get back to
Windsor Raceway, down the road, to see if there is anything new with
them, which I doubt, since they seem to be a Windsor Casino copycat.

Next I'm going over to MGM to get my $25 free play. Same thing.
Play DB Progressive until I either win or lose a hundred. Also,
somebody e-mailed me that they were putting the full-pay quarter
Pick'Em games back in upstairs again. Ya, right? I'll believe it
when I see it. I've never seen any casino except Greektown bring
back any fair games that they've previously taken out.

I'll end the day, at about 7:00 or 8:00 playing at Greektown,
trying to at least stay even and racking up points on their Double
points day. I'll also cash in another weekly $30 coupon. I'll
probably play quarter Pick'Em upstairs most of the time, (unless I
fall asleep and roll off my chair in boredom) but I will take a shot
at the dollar progressive games (9/6 JB) if it's high enough. Same
goes for the Bonus Deuces progressive in the poker room.

Notice that this day does not include Motor City Casino. They
have nothing to offer me since they pulled or changed the games that
I used to play there. They have offered me nothing since I stopped
going there recently. They've never even sent me a coupon for some
lousy mints or a very expensive plastic coffee cup. And to think,
I've played mostly there since they opened and pushed hundreds of
thousand of dollars through their damn machines. Casinos sure are
fickle.

Greektown bounceback cash for January and they dropped me to $10 every
other week. This is down from $ 20 week for December. I usually play
about 2 hours each week on quarter machines usually pickem. Maybe a
half hour on the dollar bartops if I feel lucky.

In your previous list of Greektown quarter games you missed the 9/6
JOB located on the second floor.

Just where on the second floor are these "quarter" 9/6 JB machines
located? I've been everywhere on that floor and have never seen them.
I know I've just probably missed them because I spend most of my time
playing P'E next to the poker room and over at the dollar progressive
bar. But you would think I would have spotted them by now.

Hey Marksalot, (Brian) have you ever come across these quarter
games?

Hi Terry,
The 9/6 JB machines are in the very next room from the pick em, against the wall. They are multi-denomination (.25, .50, and$1.00) and also have NSUD on them. By the way, was that you playing at the dollar progressives on Thursday? It has been so long since I've seen you I wasn't sure if it was you. Were you playing at the very end machine? If it was then I was playing next to you albeit for a very short time.

Dan,

The next time I'm there, I'll check them out.

I "was" playing on the end machine (Bonus Poker) for a short time
Thursday. Sorry I missed you. I keep looking around for Brian or
anyone else that I know around the place, but the few times I've met
some of you guys, your faces just don't click in my memory.

Hope things are well with you and Lynne.
