A Trip to Harrah's and River Palms

Terry asked a whole bunch of questions, and rather than respond directly to
him, I'll reply to the whole group.

Was the drawing a zoo? No, it was quite well done. They had everyone go to
the big banquet room behind the buffet. Lots of seating available. Of
course, when you don't win it's not as much fun, but we thought it was well run.

The $75 bounceback coupon was from our play in September (our ONLY play at
Harrah's Laughlin until last weekend).

The room was small -- not the bed. The bed was big (a king) and very
comfortable.

Yes, we really enjoyed the Diamond Lounge. Will plan on using it frequently
when we're hungry or need a rest from gambling.

Met only Carol (host)....none of the others.

Didn't do our regular early morning three mile walks this trip. We figured
climbing those 91 stairs at least once a day was exercise enough!

Question about 3x points at RP....Is it also 3x comps? Not that I could see.
Comp $ seem to be going up at the same slow rate as always.

Yes, the smokers were awful in the long bank that includes 10/7 DB and 9/6
JB. That's why we love River Palms non-smoking room.

One correction: In reading my report, I stated that there are no scratch
cards at River Palms on Sundays.....actually it's Saturdays that they don't do
them.
