A Trip Dick Could Never Take

Sorry for answering your last 2 posts so quickly, but that's because
in the world of someone who's not totally controlled by the video
poker machines, life has other meaning. I'm leaving now with my wife--
whom I have not turned into a video poker addict as you have yours--
for the beach in LA, a visit to Fisherman's Wharf in SF, a night in a
cabin on Lake Tahoe at the Hyatt, and a stopover at Wynn for a
meeting on the possibility of installing more of the >100% machines
that rope more and more players in. Be back Monday. Back when I was
like you, I used to never be able to go anywhere that didn't have
video poker even for a day. My Play Strategy changed all that. Now I
have more time, more money, and I have enormous satisfaction from
being able to win almost at will when I do play.

You see Dick, when you're in denial about your addiction, you'd be
claiming "it's the others who have the problem and not me, because
it's THEY who need the highs & lows of the wins & losses....not ME!"
And that's exactly what you just did. Another trait is self-
justification. You'd be making up ANY excuse about why YOUR
association with gambling is 'a world apart' from the 'real addicts'
just so when you go back to the casinos (probably today) you will
have done whatever you can to erase that feeling of guilt that
constantly surrounds you. To you it's a 'hobby'. to others it's an
addiction. Naturally, it's perfectly normal to play enough to have
received 26 moments of intermittent gratification from the machines
in 6 months. Who doesn't do THAT? And then you find a need to water
it down some by saying you "only" play 15-20 hours a week. What was
it that Phil Rizutto used to say? "HOLY COW"? No normal person risks
money in casinos that often. Face it. And face the fact that it's so-
called 'advantage play' that's made you the man you are today--a
pathological gambler totally controlled by the excitement of gambling.

Here's what'll happen now as I'm going out the door. You'll come back
with a response first because you always have an anal need to "set
the record straight" so that anyone who reads this won't think you're
the addict that you truly are. All you have to do is convince
yourself that you accomplished that and you'll have made yourself
feel artificially good for another day. Next, you must have the last
word or you can't sleep at night. Here's your chance, because I'm not
the nerd you are and I have no need to take either of my laptops with
me on trips! So get your face-saving message in now, because on
Monday you'll be in the same hot water as you are in right now!

<<Now I have more time, more money, and I have enormous satisfaction from
being able to win almost at will when I do play.>>

Lie. Your strategy is a proven fraud and has a high probability of leaving
anyone who plays it penniless.

Cogno

What was it that Phil Rizutto used to say? "HOLY COW"?

Wasn't that Mel Allen?

Seems to me several of your destinations do have VP. I could go on
and on about the places I've been since I've retired that don't have
VP, however, I don't have a guilty conscious and have no need to tell

Yes. Your point?

And that's exactly what you just did. Another trait is self-
justification. You'd be making up ANY excuse about why YOUR
association with gambling is 'a world apart' from the 'real

addicts'

just so when you go back to the casinos (probably today) you will
have done whatever you can to erase that feeling of guilt that
constantly surrounds you.

Sounds to me like YOU'RE the one in denial. Why else would you go on
and on about a vacation that no one else cares about.

To you it's a 'hobby'. to others it's an
addiction.

Yes. It's a hooby. Your point?

Naturally, it's perfectly normal to play enough to have

What risk?

Face it. And face the fact that it's so-

pathological gambler totally controlled by the excitement of

Face what? That I profit from my hobby. OK.

Here's what'll happen now as I'm going out the door. You'll come

back

with a response first because you always have an anal need to "set
the record straight" so that anyone who reads this won't think

you're

the addict that you truly are.

Why would they. They most likely can understand English and don't
have the need call every advantage player an addict. They won't be
selling a scam system either.

Well Mr. VP Addict (um, that's not Vice President either!). I told
you the water would be boiling for you again today after letting you
relax for the weekend (although you most probably got in you nerve-
wracking 3 hours of play each day anyway), and now it's time to sweat
again. You're like a crying little boy who keeps on crying & gets
whacked good each and every time. So here's some more doses of the
truth that you never want to accept. I guess this really got under
your skin on Thursday. You were sooooo anxious to make yourself feel
better after reading this post along with the other two that were up
long before, that you just couldn't wait and HAD to "set the record
straight" here a day before replying to the other set of truths!
HAHAHA!! I KNEW it!

Seems to me several of your destinations do have VP. I could go on
and on about the places I've been since I've retired that don't have
VP, however, I don't have a guilty conscious and have no need to tell
the world.

Most certainly there's VP in Lake Tahoe & Wynn--definitely wouldn't
want to try and slip a destination with vp machines by YOU! But did
you notice I was taking the missus? To me that means respect for
another person on a trip, and so shoving video poker at her or making
it the purpose of the trip--as you would do--doesn't ever enter into
my equation. Wynn did just this week offer me 2 free nights in a
suite (we only stayed 1) with a free gourmet meal at SW Steakhouse
where our bottle of wine alone was $388, 2 show tickets, and $500 in
free-play that I turned into $610 and quit (you'd never be able to do
that - no math models fit that scenario) as a token of thanks for my
working with them on getting those machines in there.

You see Dick, when you're in denial about your addiction, you'd be
claiming "it's the others who have the problem and not me, because

Yes. Your point?

Maybe there's hope for you yet.

Sounds to me like YOU'RE the one in denial. Why else would you go on
and on about a vacation that no one else cares about.

Oh, but you care about EVERYTHING I do. I bug you no end, because I'm
the person you've always wanted to be in the video poker world. I get
the attention you long for, and I'm able to do the things you only
dream of doing. In fact, no one gives me the attention you give, and
no one person makes me look better.

To you it's a 'hobby'. To others it's an
addiction.

Yes. It's a hooby. Your point?

The point? You call it a hobby when it's a compulsion. Not something
you'll admit in public, but the truth nonetheless.

Face it. And face the fact that it's so-
called 'advantage play' that's made you the man you are today--a
pathological gambler totally controlled by the excitement of
gambling.

Face what? That I profit from my hobby. OK.

More dreams...........more denial. And more hypocracy. 6 months of
uncontrollable play for a 'hobby'? Yup. And I'm betting you play even
more NOW! Trying to get back that 'magic feeling' right?

Nope. Just the facts. What's REALLY funny is someone as important as
you obviously think are would even care about lil ole me. LMAO even
harder.

Why do any of you care what the fuck the other thinks?

Wish I had enough time to constantly put down everyone else.

As a very wise compulsive criminal once said, "Can't we all just get along?"

Now will someone please have the LAST word?

We already know you're the addict and have a compulsion to call
everyone else an addict to somehow make yourself feel better. Get

I got the feeling that if you weren't feeling so guilty right about
now, this wouldn't be such a big deal for you to be defending
yourself. I've already admitted I was a 6-year addict up until late
1996. Do you have the same courage?

ruffled..... You're 'reading things out of order' are you?' How could
that be? I though you statistical analysis types were of an anal
obsessive compulsive nature, and nothing can be done out of order OR
ELSE!

Someone's got to pay for it.

More accurately, there's got to be SOME vp players out there who
doesn't selfishly turn his spouse (or live-in sugar daddy) into a
compulsive gambler, and who doesn't make the other half do what they
do OR ELSE!

You're far from a simple player. Everything you do is controlled by
neurosis. And you certainly understand the word 'jealousy' because
you truly hold me in awe when it comes to the game you are not
successful at.

Wake up and smell the bananas, monkey boy. These are the same stupid
lines you always use. It's getting so old and tired. Can't you see
how stupid you look saying the same garbage all the time and never
coming up with anything new? You say it to everyone and you must
somehow think it has some impact. Boy are you dense!

Same old lines. Come on, can't you come up with anything else?

Which is exactly why you have the NEED to call everyone else an
addict. You do NOT have the COURAGE to admit that YOU have a
problem that others don't have. It's as simple as that.

You don't see it, do you. That's typical of a blinded addict, yet
it's so clear to everyone on the outside. You have no idea what it
looks like bragging to others about getting 26 royals in a 6-month
period. And you never will--at least until the time comes where you
sit down and wonder where all the time went that you spent wasting
away at the vp machines. Right now it's an act of prowess to someone
like you, but when you awaken from that dream and consider that
you're still playing at that foolish pace or greater, it WILL get
you.

> No impact? Read your whining answer again and tell yourself "It

The truth is you're not the only one being hurt by your compulsion to
play video poker.

gamblers are some of the most creative people in the world.

So now you're blaming HER for your problems? That's just great. How
low can you possibly go and still look at yourself on a daily basis?

You don't see it, do you. That's typical of a blinded addict, yet
it's so clear to everyone on the outside.

Have you ever wondered why you call EVERY single successful advantage
player an addict? Once you understand the answer to that question you
may have a chance to overcome your obvious mental problems.

You have no idea what it
looks like bragging to others about getting 26 royals in a 6-month
period.

You can't get over that can you? I mention it ONE time in a
discussion on streaks and you keep bringing it up. Clearly another
sign of jealosy.

And you never will--at least until the time comes where you
sit down and wonder where all the time went that you spent wasting

manufacturing scenarios that don't exist here also. I've always

said,

gamblers are some of the most creative people in the world.

I suspect you don't even realize what you just said. You just equated
access to the standard group inferface in YAHOO with a gambling
problem. You are so stupid it's almost beyond belief. LMAO

So now you're blaming HER for your problems? That's just great. How

Sorry, but no blame has been issued from this corner. I just made a
simple statement of fact. Something beyond your ability to comprehend
since you've been so caught up in your lies for so many years.

Have you ever wondered why you call EVERY single successful

advantage player an addict?

No one knows if any of these consumed players are successfull, in
fact, my own experience as well as discussions with thousands of
those whom you choose to believe never talked to me have told me
exactly the same thing. Tell me you don't think you have even the
slightest inclinations towards being a vp addict.

> You have no idea what it looks like bragging to others about
getting 26 royals in a 6-month period.

You can't get over that can you? I mention it ONE time in a
discussion on streaks and you keep bringing it up. Clearly another
sign of jealosy.

Ha! Jealousy on 25c & 50c machines....I don't think so. The part that
I can't 'get over' and that which escapes you for obvious reasons is
the similarity in your & Bob Dancer's bragging about some sort of
prowess during a 6-month timeframe. You of all people should realize
we don't live in a 6-month world, and while you would never, ever
announce devasting periods of losses totalling even a penny more than
that which you proclaim to have won, everyone who plays the game
knows you don't stop chasing that kind of success until you are near
or at broke. At best, that kind of a streak made you even more of an
addict to the game. The fact that you insist on calling it a 'hobby
that I play 3 hours a day' only makes you look that much more
pathologically linked to the game.

Wake up, monkey boy. Take a good look in the mirror. Your own
problems are obvious. Do something about that drinking problem and
then seek professional help.

What else can you say out of frustration?

I thought you'd be rattled by that one. Denial & blame in one
sentence. You're both so engulfed with video poker on the mind that
problem-recognition is beyond realization any more. It's a scenario
like this that have me thanking my lucky stars it didn't happen to
me, every day.

Ha! Jealousy on 25c & 50c machines....I don't think so.

Hmmmm. Then I wonder why you keep bringing it up???

The part that
I can't 'get over' and that which escapes you for obvious reasons

is

the similarity in your & Bob Dancer's bragging about some sort of
prowess during a 6-month timeframe.

Of course, you fail to remember (or mention) that I've also claimed a
5 1/2 month streak of NO RFs. Kind of blows your bragging theory.
Just admit that it's all in your mind.

You of all people should realize
we don't live in a 6-month world, and while you would never, ever
announce devasting periods of losses totalling even a penny more

than

that which you proclaim to have won,

Oh, but I did. More than once. In fact, the streak occurred when I
first started using expert play strategies. I survived that losing
streak and have now had many winning and losing streaks. What a
surprise. If you had any intelligence whatsoever you'd give up this
ridiculous attempt to generalize all advantage players.

everyone who plays the game
knows you don't stop chasing that kind of success until you are

near

or at broke. At best, that kind of a streak made you even more of

an

addict to the game. The fact that you insist on calling it a 'hobby
that I play 3 hours a day' only makes you look that much more
pathologically linked to the game.

Nope. Only someone who thinks like you would ever come to that
conclusion. You're still caught up in YOUR own losing ways and you
can't accept that others can win. We do, get used to it.

I thought you'd be rattled by that one. Denial & blame in one
sentence. You're both so engulfed with video poker on the mind that
problem-recognition is beyond realization any more. It's a scenario
like this that have me thanking my lucky stars it didn't happen to
me, every day.

Oh, but it does. You're caught up in an addiction of ego. You
replaced your VP addiction with one that requires adalation from
others. When you don't get it, you react with name calling and your
own version of denial ... calling everyone else addicted. Look in the
mirror, monkey boy, it's obvious to everyone else.

> No one knows if any of these consumed players are successfull,

What a crock. They tell you all the time.

And as a fellow addict, you'd believe anything they said, that is, as
long as it was "We Win"!

I don't have the slightest inclination towards being a vp addict.

Of course you don't. Otherwise, how could you possible justify to
yourself and anyone else who cares, about the inordinate amount of
time you & your family spend at the machines?

> Ha! Jealousy on 25c & 50c machines....I don't think so.

Hmmmm. Then I wonder why you keep bringing it up???

To continue making you look like the addict you are, naturally. 3
hours a day at video poker machines, and I doubt if your average is
even THAT low?? HA! You've so muddled your thinking process that
you'd never recognize just how foolish that is to a normal person!

Of course, you fail to remember (or mention) that I've also

claimed a

5 1/2 month streak of NO RFs. Kind of blows your bragging theory.
Just admit that it's all in your mind.

The more you talk about the ridiculous amount of time you spend
keeping casinos open, the bigger the hole you dig. And here's a clue--
You'd have NEVER openly mentioned that 'losing streak' if you didn't
first brag about some kind of winning streak. That's what losing
addicts do. They always have to minimize the effect so those reading
won't oooh & ahhh over the losing.

Oh, but I did. More than once. In fact, the streak occurred when I

streak and have now had many winning and losing streaks. What a
surprise. If you had any intelligence whatsoever you'd give up this
ridiculous attempt to generalize all advantage players.

Even more stories of prowess. What a BIG surprise for you to be
saying such a thing. All you show is how intelligent I really am.
You're a testimony to it. I always say without a doubt that those who
make believe they're 'advantage players' are serious gambling
addicts. You epitomize that to a tee. Thank you for confirming my
beliefs and in the process, making me look so good.

Nope. Only someone who thinks like you would ever come to that
conclusion. You're still caught up in YOUR own losing ways and you
can't accept that others can win. We do, get used to it.

Said as only a true pathological would say it..... Play an inisial
amount of long hours, blame the spouse for getting you involved in
such a game, and make up stories of winning prowess while dissing the
truths as told by the #1 player in the world. Yes, you are sad but
true.

Bingo! A direct hit!! Defense without offense. Predictability without

respect each other and do not drag the other down with any unsavory

a glass of Jack Daniel's Single Barrel to celebrate your self-

Several gamblers means nothing. When you get a large enough sampling
to match the parameters of a machine in a casino, then it means
something. How dense can you be about gaming subjects?

Like the system you promote. However, for those of us willing to

Yup. And that's clearly the explanation of why the casinos not only
PAY Bob Dancer to teach his flawed & inconsistent methods on their
floors--they seek him out to do it. And all the while they tell me I
can't hold classes FOR FREE because they don't want people
playing 'hit & run' like they know I do.

Why would anyone care what a million clueless gamblers think? Ask a
million retirees about a 3 hour a day hobby that generates income
as well.

Let's see....a million gamblers have no clue as to what constitutes a
problem gambler?? And a million retirees would think it's OK to
gamble 3 hours a day just to earn phantom bucks? I know a LOT of
retirees over here that take the bus to Laughlin once a month. Why?
Because they do it for entertainment, and a few even win. Guess what
they'd say about someone who plays 3 hours a day (and that's probably
on the light side) who claims to be making an hourly salary even when
he loses! The bus would be ROLLING in blue-haired laughter!!!

> Chances are you incorporated a statement such as "I'm ahead

Not at the time. Nice try anyway. Are you ever right about anything?

Ever notice your constant denial about everything, except for the
fact that YOU WIN? HA! Gambler's Anonymous for Dicky sounds about
right.

When the fact is ... I am ahead overall ... it really doesn't

Not in this lifetime. I guarantee it.

Dumb answer, but then you really had no choice here. Ever hear of
cooking meals being "non-productive"? Try again. I'll leave it in and
give you another chance.

> Wanna meet her? I'm not ashamed of her like you must be "in

Like either of you would hang out your dirty laundry in public. But
bring her along and maybe she can explain all your drinking and
your constant lying.

I've already openly told of my 'dirty laundry' over the years when I
started out as a public figure. The fact that I did that along with
having enough money and being a successful enough gambler to talk the
talk and walk the walk means nothing from nobodys like you - or even
from the famous - names ever phases me. But I am impressed that you
would tattle on your own wife about gettin you involved in as dirty a
habit as pathological gambling. That's cute.

No, I said CLUELESS gamblers like you. If they had a clue, then they
would understand advantage play is a profitable venture. However, if
they don't have a clue, then who can trust their opinions. It would
be about the same as asking you about math.

And a million retirees would think it's OK to
gamble 3 hours a day just to earn phantom bucks?

Nothing phantom about them. Real money that goes into my pocket every
year.

I know a LOT of
retirees over here that take the bus to Laughlin once a month. Why?
Because they do it for entertainment, and a few even win.

Do they have a gambling problem?

Guess what
they'd say about someone who plays 3 hours a day (and that's

probably

on the light side) who claims to be making an hourly salary even

when

he loses!

Lie. When have I EVER claimed an hourly salary? I only care about my
results at the end of the year.

The bus would be ROLLING in blue-haired laughter!!!

I suppose one look at you would cause that ...

Just to change the subject a little. If Bill Gates played VP and lost
$10,000 a year would you think he had a gambling problem? Would your
bus load of the clueless think so? Think carefully.

Ever notice your constant denial about everything, except for the
fact that YOU WIN? HA!

If you would stop lying I wouldn't need to continually correct you.

Dumb answer, but then you really had no choice here. Ever hear of
cooking meals being "non-productive"? Try again. I'll leave it in

and

give you another chance.

Doesn't bring home the bread, monkey boy. That's what being
productive entails.

But

I've already openly told of my 'dirty laundry' over the years when

I

started out as a public figure. The fact that I did that along with
having enough money and being a successful enough gambler to talk

the

talk and walk the walk means nothing from nobodys like you - or

even

from the famous - names ever phases me. But I am impressed that you
would tattle on your own wife about gettin you involved in as dirty

a

habit as pathological gambling. That's cute.

Naturally, that's not what I said. But then, why would anyone expect
anything else from a sociopathic liar. What I said was my wife was
the gambler of the family. I don't gamble, I go with sure things like
advantage play.

> > Love that JDSB! Ever visit the distillery? It's a US landmark
now. Oh, that's right, they don't have gambling anywhere near
Lynchburg, and you folks can't get your fix of the video poker
machines. So any trip like that's always been out of the question.

Is

that sad or what.....

that about says it all.

Whataya talking about? you visit casinos every day! Them's the

worlds

biggest booze factories!

I don't touch a drop. If only you could say the same ...

> Several gamblers means nothing. When you get a large enough
sampling to match the parameters of a machine in a casino, then it

means something. How dense can you be about gaming subjects?

LOL. Do you any clue what you're talking about? I guess not since

you clearly have no knowledge of even the simplest arithmetic.

Nice answer. Says nothing, but at your level it's a nice answer.

BS. They pay Bob to get to lazy folks who aren't willing to put the
time and energy into fully understanding expert play. They probably
have heard you talk and don't want to have anything to do with a
pathetic, sociopathic egomaniac.

Then I guess you are now labeling your wife double lazy and double
unwilling to do things the anal-retentive way you'd prefer she do
them. See how stupid and unprepared you are? You've got a looong way
to go before you can hang with me.

No, I said CLUELESS gamblers like you. If they had a clue, then

they would understand advantage play is a profitable venture.
However, if they don't have a clue, then who can trust their
opinions. It would be about the same as asking you about math.

Now I know why it is you would hate to see proof that I win. You'd
have to identify what you mean by CLUELESS. At that point of tilt,
your slide rule would probably come zinging out of it's nerdy case
and start spanking you into reality.

Lie. When have I EVER claimed an hourly salary? I only care about

my results at the end of the year.

Oh that's right. It was your pal Congo who makes the phantom bucks.
You play too much to win.

Just to change the subject a little. If Bill Gates played VP and

lost $10,000 a year would you think he had a gambling problem? Would
your bus load of the clueless think so? Think carefully.

Here's taking this a bit further. When Bill Bennett was caught
playing the $100 machines at Bellagio after losing over a million
dollars in about 18 months, I sent him a book and asked him to
contact me. He did, and we had a 20 minute talk about how he did get
caught up in the habit, how he stopped forever, and how what he lost
(he wouldn't verify the reports of his losses) was really peanuts to
him. He agreed that even if he won (and if your Bill Gates example
won) it would make little difference in his being addicted to the
game and that he should quit such a nasty habit that saw him playing
hours and hours every chance he had. Sound familiar?

Doesn't bring home the bread, monkey boy. That's what being
productive entails.

Ask your local Indian casino chef about that one.

expect anything else from a sociopathic liar. What I said was my wife
was the gambler of the family. I don't gamble, I go with sure things

And that's exactly what they all say, that is, until they get whacked
by the reality stick. I wonder how stupid these casino managers feel
every day when the offer up those "sure things" the "non-gamblers"
come in to gamble on!!! Either way you slice it, the family that
gambles together requires GA together, and with crazy statements like
the one you just made and at your advanced age, you are most probably
beyond any help. A lost cause. And you thought nobody cared about you
before! (besides your local casino manager, that is......)

> Whataya talking about? you visit casinos every day! Them's the

I don't touch a drop. If only you could say the same ...

Then you're at another serious disadvantage. At my height & weight,
6'2"/198, the Harvard Medical Journal has said in 1994 and has
confirmed and updated it's report half a dozen times since then, that
2 alcoholic drinks a day are much better for those in good health,
than none at all. I proudly toss down an average of 2 premium drinks
a day. So guess what they also say about sitting around in unhealthy,
smokey casinos 3 or more hours a day???
