A simple question ...

For those of you who have stayed at both the Venetian and the Palazzo in Las Vegas, do you
have a preference for one over the other?

Now that Venetian has remodelled its rooms, they are virtually identical to
the rooms at Palazzo. So, there is really no preference in their rooms,
themselves.

However....I strongly prefer Palazzo over Venetian for one reason: parking.

Since I drive to Vegas and I do not valet park, parking in Vegas is a big
issue for me. The parking garage at Palazzo is directly underneath the
hotel. I always park several floors down and right next to the elevators on
the south end of the garage. The garage elevators at the south end take you
right next to the room elevators on the casino level. This makes the walk
Venetian's garage to its rooms.

We stayed at the Palazzo about a month ago and have a trip up-coming where we have a
choice between the two. With this opinion, we will try the Venetian this time. We are not
driving and so parking is not important to us.

Ask for the older tower in Venetian. All rooms have been redone so
that isnt an issue and the older, or original tower is much more
convenient to the casino. We will be trying Palazzo for the first time
bit later this month.
