I have taken the opportunity to play quite a few hands
of video poker on your video poker machines at your
casino.
In the states of Nevada and Mississippi, it is illegal
to have non-random video poker machines.
In this case, casinos are unlikely to cheat and
thereby risk their gaming licenses.
Several other states are generally believed to have
random VP machines.
The questions I have for your casino specifically are
as follows:
When playing your video poker machines at your

Are your machines truly random in the same way as they
are in Nevada and Mississippi?
I am aware that the payout schedules on your machines
may be different from other casinos in other states,
and this is reasonable.
However, are the individual payout schedules used on
your machines the only way you determine the "house
advantage" with your machines over the long term?
Another way of asking this question is as follows:
Is the chance of one machine displaying a winning hand
purely a function of that machine's RNG (Random Number
Generator), and nothing else?
Or are your machines networked together in such a way
that a certain amount of money needs to pass through
all of the machines before a winning hand has the
chance to occur?
If your machines do not follow the same guidelines as
they do in Nevada and Mississippi, I would like to
know how they are different.
