Howdy

If you play VP long enough you will experience the inevitable and proverbial
"pain in the ass neighbor. I tell myself every time this occurs what do you
expect.??..you ARE in a casino. There's the couple where one plays and the
other one stands behind and coaches..not only loudly but wrongly. I am not sure
what bothers me more. Hey, I can always move, but the machine is eating my
money and I want it back. Then there is the "Punisher" who insist on banging
the buttons or more annoyingly ..the screen. Hopefully, he loves his dog.

To me VP requires a fair amount of concentration and these perps are
challenging my civility. Why is it that many of the patrons that pass you in
route to
where ever are talking in a high volume voice and foreign tongue to boot ?
No, I am talking about English although it seems to be getting that way have
you noticed ?.

Don't get me started on long cell phone conversations and prolonged chats
between adjacent players

Another annoyance are some of those small change machines in my playing
radius that emit a mixture of the most inane utterances ever concocted by man
or
beast.

Did I miss something?

The noise IS irritating - my "favorite" is the machines that yell out at the passing crowds when no one is even playing them -- at one riverboat, seems like I expect to hear a loud and repetitive "Wheel - Of - Fortune!!!" whenever I'm playing VP at my favorite bank of machines.

Like you, I know it's a casino, and they're trying to attract those 2-second-attention-span passers-by -- or is the real purpose to destroy the concentration of those such as us, playing games where it actually makes a difference what you do!?
