On the 13th, a number of video poker machines at both the Colorado Belle and Edgewater were closed down to, supposedly, renumber these machines. Included were the full pay machines at both properties. Later on the 13th, when back up and operational, the eight full pay machines at the Edgewater were accruing points at the rate of one point for $2 of play. This "error" was corrected within 24 hours and the rate was back to one point per $6 of play.
A Momentary Error
I was also there and witnessed banks of machines down. They didn't say anything about renumbering them. Instead they said they were "reprogramming" them. I never got a chance to ask anyone what "reprogramming" meant but it sure made me nervous.
