A hypothetical casino offer to Bob Dancer.

Bob, I've been having a little fun over on FREEvpFREE the past few
days. I devised a hypothetical offer out of fun, but then it struck
me, I wonder what you would think if you got a piece of casino mail
with the following offer:

Brand X Casino sends you an offer that you and Shirley can play $25
denom single-line 9/6 Jacks or Better, with 1% cashback. That's one
percent.

But it's stipulated that you must make a deposit at the cage for as
much as you want. Maybe there could be a cap, like $2,000,000 or
something. This money will be your playing bankroll.

You can play for as many or as few hours per day as you want. When you
cash out for the day you have to redeposit all moneys back into your
casino account.

You have to take your cashback and deposit it back into your casino
account on a daily basis.

Neither you nor the house can quit the play or change the rules of the
play until your account is depleted or you have $1,000,000 more in your
account than you started with.

What would be your opinion of an offer like that?

Who gets the interest on the money?

When does one finally get to withdraw it?

Interesting question. It'll take some thought to come up with a decision
on whether or not I'd play such a game. It might make a good subject for
one of my articles. Thanx for the suggesion.

Who gets the interest on the money?

They are free to negotiate.

When does one finally get to withdraw it?

The following rule applies:

"Neither you nor the house can quit the play or change the
rules of the play until your account is depleted or you have
$1,000,000 more in your account than you started with."

Once he has $1,000,000 more in the account than he originally deposited
either side is free to do what they want.

Conversely, if his account becomes depleted either side may do what
they want.

This is to insure the rules are not changed in the middle of the
contest.

If you wouldn't want to assume all the risk, I'm just small potatoes
but I'd take $10,000 worth on you and Shirley.

That's net to Bob of about $500 per hour less cost of funds if no interest paid. So 2000 hours to kick it up to $1 mil. Sounds like a good use of a year (50 weeks at 40 hours per.)

I know this is a question for Bob. Since I would look at deal from
left field, let me weigh in. If I got the offer I'd need to know 2
things. First, will they give me RFB. Second, if I don't feel good
or don't want to play for a couple days or more can I have a
designated player. My playing bankroll is not up to a million yet.
Maybe an investor would play for me or I could hire a player.

If I got the RFB and designated player approved I would take the
deal. Suite, comp spa, comp shows etc. a must. After all, a million
in cage should lift me to BP. (fish - whale - patsy)

Next using the rule that I could play as much or as little as I
want, I would play 1 or 2 games a day. Even if have worst bad luck I
could score the ultimate 10-20 year vacation. Of course there is
always the slim chance I could score a couple royals and a 4kd or
two; the first week. One new years eve I hit a royal. Then an hour
and one year later I hit another one. I need the designated player
to be able to go home for visiting time. In fact, if one had to play
at least one game a day this would suddenly become work. I'd need
someone to play that one game for me.

Side lite; I'll be spending a lot of time at the pool writing "How I
got over on the casino for thousands" or better yet; "Anyone can
score a $1000 a day in comps." That will be me on Leno holding up my
book. Of course, the deal is still gambling; in more ways than one.
If I am lucky in writing I can score the millon in book sales in
case I lose the JOB deal.

Well time to get back to real world. I'm in the east and I gotta cut
the grass.

Cheers...Jeep

Mr. Whitejeeps, you would make an excellent hustler!

PS The offer is to both Bob and Shirley.

I'll take the offer, subject to some reservations. I've written a
1,000-word response that I'm going to run in my Tuesday online column.
I'd run it tomorrow except that I already started a Part I of II series
last week before Mickey published his teaser. But we'll see the response
in a week.

I don't like the delay in my response, but when I've promised to come up
with 52 new columns a year (not to mention what I produce for Casino
Player and Strictly Slots), it seems to me that I should use this
1000-word response as one of the columns. It's not easy to come up with
that many new columns a year all related to video poker. To my
knowledge, nobody else anywhere is even attempting to do this.

Plus, I'm negotiating with another site and may well need to come up
with an additional group of original weekly columns. This will be a
challenge. I will likely end up posting less on this site but responding
to issues raised here in these columns.
