A good two days in Motown

First of all it's great to see this group; I didn't know it existed
until today.
This past Friday I played hooky and decided to try MGM. I walked
in about 8;00am and saw a very tasty progressive jackpot of $1450.
To my surprise only one other player. Let the rest of the world work
while I play, I thought. After about 20 minutes on the 9/7 DB I was
dealt A-Q-T-4 of spades. I don't normally worry about strategy
adjustments for progressives, I just kind of wing it. I figured 1460
was high enough to hold all three card royals, so I did. Up pop the
king and jack for royal #11 in my career. Thank you very much! Next
I went upstairs to try the $.50 DB. I love those new EZ Pay
machines, especially since there's no more danmed double up. Soon I
hit four 8's , followed closely by four ACES baby! $475 profit in 10
minutes, and $1935 for the day. On Sat I tried Motor City. NSUD .25
prog was up to $1250. I didn't get but lost only $100 in 2 hours. I
went to the 9/7 DB triple play and was promply dealt four ACEs.
Hoohah! I bobbed and weaved for another two hours and actually
increased it another $100. $700 for the day and $2600 and change for
the weekend. Far and away my best ever.

Just like me last week, you were very lucky Nipper. That 9/7/5
Double Bonus game is very volatile and, with it's 99.1% payback, it's
tough to stay even with, let alone get ahead. Now, go out and buy
something with part of your winnings before you blow it all back to
the casino. I have items around the house that are mementos of almost
every big win that I've ever had.

Actually that win is tucked away for a Vegas trip in March. I'll probably play a little in Detroit before that trip but most will be for $1 10/7 DB in Vegas.
