I was at the Excalibur. I know I know, nothing playable there. Hey. I was
with family from out of town. You know, the family we all brag about taking
along with us to lose money while we make a slight profit from playing advantage
VP? I decided to play a hot looking Jacks 6/5 nickel machine. Something about
how it looked. My family meanwhile was losing their shirts big time. I got a
dealt Royal in the first few plays. Then I upped my play to Dollar Deuces,
the kind that pays a whole lot for a straight flush but has a return of only
96.8% Hey! That's what the Gurus say at least but what do they know. They're
all old greybeard's who are spending their entire lives looking for the
looooooong Teeeeeerm. Man, I was rompin. I was hot. I hit a dealt Royal on the
ducks then another four hands later. Then I went to the high roller room while
the family dutifully kept losing more and more. Oddly they seemed to lose just
a liitle more than I was winning. So why do the casinos punish us AP's when
they know full well the family is helping their cause??? OK OK I held 4 to a
Royal on $5 Jacks 6/5 and you guessed it. The fifth Royal card popped in then
popped out again. I called gaming and made the goons at Excalibur pay me my
dough.
I mean to tell ya. The Excalibur is a hot hot place to play and the buffet
is great too. And, I don't work for the Excalibur in the marketing department.
I really don't. I swear. Have I ever lied to you before???
