Okay, a Flea here -- played about an hour yesterday and 1/2 hour today
while waiting for people, quarters 8/5 JoB beginner strategy(best I
could find at Spa Resort Casino in Palm Springs, even the bar top games
are now no better than 7/5 for JoB). My flea budget was $100 and ended
up losing $55 over the two days -- however, earned 3100 points on the
slot club, and since it's $1 played = 3 points, I definitely think I
got my money's worth. I have been practicing on Win Video Poker, and
reading Jean Scott's FVP book, only for about two weeks. Since I was
able to parlay $55 actual cash-in into 3100 points, I am very happy
with my first even modest session after learning just a little bit of
basic software strategy over two weeks. And I got in on a free soda-12-
pack comp, which I guess adds about $3 to the value. It made a nice
little session of entertainment, and I'm quite satisfied with the
results. I'm looking forward to learning more and going to better
games with a bigger bankroll.
