My observations have been that the clueless hordes are junkies for the "rush"
of hitting the big pot. Aces+kicker in DDB for half a Royal's payoff, for
example. 9/6 JoB may be a better game in a particular casino, but they want the
thrill and JoB is comparatively quite boring.
