I was at GT most of Monday. Decided to play 9/6 JB upstairs and
go for a royal. I played for about 6 hours, dropped $100, but no
royals. Met an old vp friend from Motor City when I used to play
there.
Her name is Connie. She is the most fidgety player I've ever met.
She just can't sit still for more than a few minutes. Out of the
corner of your eye you see her constantly in motion. Up, down, up
down, light a cig, lean to the right, lean to the left, another cig,
leave to go ? Back again, a cig, take off her coat, put it back on,
adjust her seat position, leave again. She's a sweet girl, but
she'll drive you nuts if play next to her.
I did hit a $600 quad on dollar Pick'Em before I left, so the day
wasn't a total loss.
Haven't heard anything back from Huntington Press about my poker
book proposal. I guess they're not going to publish it. I'll start
sending it others now. Rejection is part of the book business and if
you get upset about it, don't get involved.
Been playing Texas'Hold'em on the Internet a lot lately. Haven't
won yet but have a couple of seconds along with several top ten
finishes. Not a lot of money in the games I play in, (usually $2-$5
buy ins)but even for those amounts it can get exciting, especially
when you get head's up (one on one) with some guy for first place.

they'll have something other than their own stupidity to blame on
their losses."
