Alot of touch screen VP allows you to toggle from Credits to $$. A 125
Credit hit is a 125 Credit hit. Alot of promos (at least in Laughlin) are just as
valuable at low denominations as hanging out in High Limit rooms. Alot of
marketing mail gets influenced by time duration of play, so playing alot longer
at lower denominations can help.

In southern Nevada alot of joints offer the best games only in
quarters...some even in nickels/dimes.

Personally, I cut back 90% in overall yearly coin-in from a few years ago. I
was leaving too much of my marketing mail/offers going to waste. It can be
fun putting on a low roller hat and doing low roller promos. Percentage-wise,
my $5 matchplays add alot more now. Scoring a free sandwich/fries for $375
coin-in on quarter FPDW (River Palms/Laughlin) feels like a victory now.

GG,
Thanks for your reply.Your "90 %cutting back" story really
addressed my rumination. Guess I should be living in Laughlin :).
I'd like to hear from other members.
