A couple of Greater Nevada Updates
A couple of notes on VP outside of Las Vegas that I've noticed since
my move out here last month:
Pahrump:
Saddle West has a good number of .25 9/6 JOB and 8/5 BP, as well as
a non-smoking area with both of those with progressives. (Get $2
off of the buffet when you show your players club card.)
Elko:
The Red Lion only has .25 7/5 BP and 8/5 JOB. (That's all I play so
that's all I look for.) There's a bank of $1 JOB progressives (also
8/5) which was up to about $4700 this past weekend. They also have
a lot of those gimmicky "Big House Bonus" nickel machines. Twelve
coin in for each player's club point. 1750 points gets you a free
weekend Brunch. No cash back, only "Reward Bucks" for use in the
gift shop.
The Commercial and Stockman casinos downtown also have nothing but
short pay schedule VP. If anyone's interested, I can post more
specifics.
I did manage to hit a Royal Flush at the Red Lion my first weekend
out here, so I've been financing my "non-advantage" play off of that
ever since.
