Guys,
I've been getting coupons from Greektown and MGM lately and have
taken advantage of most of them.
Greektown has been sending me instant cash coupons worth $20 or
$25 that I redeem at the cashier's cage each week. They also send me
various food coupons that come in handy when I bring a guest.
Last Saturday morning, I lost $200 at the progressive bar
upstairs playing 9/6 JB. That's the only game I'll play there
because I've run thousands of sims using various starting amounts on
all the games and the results have proven that 9/6 JB is the best
game to stay even with over a long period of time to give yourself a
shot at a royal. And that is what I'm really shooting for there.
I then played dollar and quarter Pick'Em and managed to hit four
full houses ($90 each) and walked away with just over $300 for the
day.I next went over to MGM and won another $200 playing dollar
Pick'Em also. A good $500 profit day.
Of course I lost that much over the last couple of sessions or so
at the place, but that's gambling.

MGM sent me a coupon that gave me 1600 free points if I play 800
points in November. I know it probably only amounted to about $15-
$20 or so, but still, I never look a gift coupon in the mouth. I
also got a free buffet coupon that I used.
Yesterday, I went back to MGM to finish out the rest of the
points and won again. I started out playing the quarter 9/7/5 DB
progressive, which was up to $1850 when I got there. I had two one-
card-draws at the royal, but eventually about two hours later, a guy
hit it and I left about $50 down.
I next played dollar Pick'Em at the bar and managed to hit a
quad for $600. I also won $50 and $100 on two other sessions there
during the day. I eventually lost a hundred back, but still left
$600 up. Back to back winning sessions....I'll take'em.
I cashed out about 7,000 points and got about $70 back. Not
great, but not bad, but I won't be back to MGM again for awhile
until they send me something else of value. For the most part, their
vp inventory stinks and some their vp game are so bad as to be an
insult to my intelligence.
I like Greektown and their new management team and how they
treat the players. That's where you'll find me lately.
