'Twas the week before Christmas when I spied a 5-play.
For my 3 nights at TI, I needed to play to 67.5 K.
Best plays listed were $2 JOB in the database.
But these were $1 and I wasn't in a haste.
Using $350 free play and priming it with a hundred-dollar bill,
The meter zoomed to 810, then zig-zagged up until
It hit 1025, whereupon I switched to 3-play to better preserve my win.
Lo and behold, it zoomed to 3700 and hit all the century marks within.
I'd like to tell you it got to the royal 4000 mark
But it fell back then crept to 3205 when I put it in park.
All of this with an hour and a half on $2
And just two and a half hours on $1.
Summary: It was one of those rare times where a machine decides it's going
to be nice to you no matter what starting cards you have. During the first hour
and a half on dollars, flopped 4 of a kind 3 times, drew 4 of a kind holding
a card and flopped flushes and full houses when needed.
For the database: Add 2 slant-top $ 3/5/10-plays next to High Limit.
Pt levels
3700 Room-comp only
7500 RFL (room, food limited)
10,000 RFB (room, food beverage)
35,000 Bigger suites
1 pt = $1.50 slots, $3 vp
For slot players, room-comp only would be quite a bargain to stay at a nice
strip property for $5550 in action. ( I think it's because they know in the
Wynn tunnel.) The offer I came in on was at RFL so it was $22,500/day but
relative to competition, it's more of a bargain than it used to be and the ability
to complete requirements in 4 hrs for a 3-day stay is a great time-saver.
Another goodie for slot players is the Freedom free play which awards an
extra $200 of free play for every 20,000 pts. I have a feeling that this might
happen at lower levels too but they just confirmed what I'd heard.
I hope someone does a follow up including the restaurants because I didn't
have a chance to do much more than 3 meals at the cafe which was fine but I
ordered easy standards.
