A better answer for VPfae

In the case of BJ, Keno, Craps, Pai Gow and Slot tournaments the slot
club brochure states you can use your comps dollars for tournament
buyins. The mailers clearly state this in the small print.

I discovered I could use comp dollars for poker tournaments by accident
because the brochure just said "tournament buyins" and I took that to
mean just BJ, Keno, Craps, Pai Gow and Slot tournaments.

I avoided the poker tournaments because of the conditions described in
my last post on this subject. I just played the cash games. But one
day I saw someone hand the tournament director a voucher so I started
asking questions.

Some of the best Reno tournaments are the dummy slot ones at Atlantis. I've met a lot of reno vpfree folks there.

met a lot of reno vpfree folks there.

I've been out of the loop on this for awhile but yes, the Atlantis mail
was free play and slot tournaments for locals.
BJ, Pai Gow tournaments, etc. were in the mix at El Dorado/Silver
Legacy for locals. You just had to find the threshold for generating
the mail.

I knew one player who even used a loss leader to get the mail. He
would green chip live BJ at about a negative .2% to get comp and
tournaments. Same thing with craps betting pass line and free odds to
get comp and tournaments.
