My first royal was $2600+ at Circus Circus in Reno on a 6-coin quarter
machine. I hit it late at night after my wife had gone to bed. I think I
tipped $80 or $120 but that's just a side note.
After collecting the cash, I went back to the room, woke up my honey & tossed
all the money in the air to show off how much I'd won. She took one look at
all the money on the floor, said "That's nice", turned over & went to sleep.
Thoroughly deflated at her lack of enthusiasm, I showered & went to bed. The
next morning, she told me that, since she didn't have her glasses on, she
thought I was tossing ones instead of hundreds!
