Harry and Bob have their points.
Personally I would not vary from regular strategy for a one shot Quad (any).
Hit it and move on. Don't confuse or slow down the play for a one in 430
hand occurance.
Now, about slide rules...
So who has one in the sock drawer?
I get out mine just to smell it once in awhile. Bamboo oil is aromatic.
Now, about precision...
The math teacher who made me buy the slide rule was a fanatic about
precision. Garbage in--- Garbage out turned out to be a popular phrase later down the
road.
Even the "Wizard of Odds" made me cringe the other day. Can't quite remember
the application, but he had eight digits right of the decimal. Even VP
players only use two digits to make a play decision/comparision.
