9/5 doublejoker

Can anyone suggest a top strategy for 9/5 doublejoker? The one I
have does not include penalty cards and there must be many. It is
also not clear on many 1 joker hands (i.e. stfl 4 over straight, but
what about A,2,3,4 spades with 5 clubs?).
I guess I am used to better FP and NSU duece strategies.
I have been playing in Conn.. The machines seem to give me too many
near misses = 4 royal, 4 flush, etc. to be legit ( no law says they
have to be on a reservation). I know this game can dig a bigger
hole than dueces if you do not hit a 5 kind ( 250 credits)or Wild
Royal ( 500 crdts). Stfls ( 125 crdts) do seem a little more
frequent than wild Royals are in FP dueces.
The game is said to pay 99.9, but I could be easilly losing .2 to .4
of this now ( I actually lost about 5 % of about $9000 coin in during
3 May double points sessions ).

A plus is that 1 coin NO wild RF pays 500 instead of 250, plus the RF
is less than 2% of return, thus making it a far better 1 coin play
than JB or any bonus game in Conn. ( they now have 8/5 BP in dollars,
and some 99.3 DB games .25, .50, $1)).
If you are stuck on the East Coast reservations this may now be the
best play.

Winning Strategies for Video Poker lists a strategy table for Double
Joker, which pretty much originated in Atlantic City.

The strategy will not take into account penalty card situations, as
my Dad (Lenny) did not generally feel this was worth it (please,
let's not start a whole new discussion on this, I'm just adding it as
a disclaimer based on the original poster's request).

with a 9/5 payback, playing 5 coins the return should be right about
100%.

This assumes a 1/2/3/4/5/9/25/50/100/800 payback.

While I was up there 10 days ago, I noticed a totally different
paytable as well, so I would suggest anyone interested in playing
makes sure they are playing they want to play.

Good Luck
Elliot
