Q: What drinks are considered off-limits while playing at
the casino? Can I order a frozen drink? What about mix
drinks? Do I have to stick just to beer, water, coffee, and
soft drinks? Does it depend on what game I'm playing or
at what level? Do casinos have a list of drinks that they'll
serve you? If so, where is the list available?

Las Vegas-

I sure miss the slurpy machines at the Plaza/Vegas Club. Barrick threw them
away. I guess they didn't know a LVC Mudslide was mandatory on a hot summer
day when I sat down to play Pick Em, All-American or the comfy slant-top Jacks
9/6/4700. Oh yeah, those are gone now too...never mind.

Just what is up at Barbary Coast with the beer? Domestic draft beer only,
served in highball glasses? Has this situation changed?

Laughlin Observations-

You can't get a Budweiser product in the Riverside. I guess a distributer
irritated Don Laughlin some 39 years ago now. Now this would be a good LVA
Question of the Day, the real story please.

Harrahs-L has posted signs in their bars- $10 buy-in and three coin minimum
for comped bartop drinks. I bet they would like all of us to play short coin,
adding about 1.3% to the VP vig.

You can't get a Heineken in the cheap seats on the floor at the Edgewater.
You can though playing at the bartops or in $1 land. Heineken cans are served
at the Pioneer, everyone else on the river has bottles.
