Greektown's formula for bounceback seems to vary. A few months ago, it was
obviously tied to total coin-in, because the less I played, the higher the
bounceback would be 2 months later. Results didn't matter. Friends had the same
experience. Now:
1. Terry got $70 x (?), after getting his butt kicked on the $ progressives.
2. I've been getting just annihilated on the quarter PickEm, and I got $50 x
2.
3. Deb's been doing pretty OK on the same game, and she got $25 x 2.
4. A friend of mine ("Ron") has been playing some PickEm and a LOT of those
nasty short-pay MGMD games, and has been cleaning them out good. He got $10 x
3. Apparently your choice of VP games doesn't matter, either.
The mailer also included 2-fer-1 coupons for prime rib dinners at Alley
Grille. Assuming they sent out thousands of these, you won't be able to get in
that place for the entire month without an AK47.

A couple of months ago I was winning at Greektown and was getting
$15 redeemable coupons from them to entice me to return. Recently
I've been getting my butt kicked and they are now sending me $70
coupons. Do you think that they somehow know that I'm now losing?
They also sent me some free tickets to their latest drawing.
Forget the tickets...send more money!"Of all the many strategies, both blatant and subtle that casinos
use to encourage you to gamble, none is more complex than the
granting of complimentary items to players."
--Darwin OrtizThe more I play their vp games, the more I'm convinced that the
only games we should be playing at Greektown are Pick'Em, Deuces
Wild (NSUD)and maybe Deuces Bonus if the royal is over $1500 or so.
I've been losing at the dollar bar playing 9/6 JB and Bonus Poker.
The only way you can beat these games is to hit royals. I guess it's
time to drop back to quarters again.TM &VP
