I don't mind long and detailed trip reports. Sometimes, I read them, other times, I don't. It depends on what else I have to do.
I receive the messages in digest form. What I do mind, and find extremely irritating, is having to scroll through that same trip report 20 or 30 times because people do not adhere to item 4 of the posting guidelines.
