Several people have reported receiving a Diamond card during renewal time rather than the 7* mailing they should have gotten. Right now it is looking like some sort of a computer glitch to me, since one Atlantic City host has reported receiving hundreds of phone calls. I strongly doubt 7* status is being denied just because someone plays a lot of VP (especially given the fact the VP machines at Harrah's just aren't that good!).
More information should be forthcoming soon as folks with this problem hear back from corporate or their hosts as to what is happening.
