6% surcharge PLUS 1% EXTRA SALES TAX????

I see no reason for the store to stop selling the gold bars, they are making a good profit on them (at least 50%). They should stop charging the illegal tax on them though. So what happened now is I was there yesterday and the manager wasn't in, so the girl asked me to leave the form there and she would give it to her and I left my name and phone number for her to call me. The girl said no one ever brought in one of these forms before. I guess no one knows state laws on bullion. Next move is theirs.

Also, the one question is, are they keeping the tax they are charging on it, or are they giving it to the state? If they are keeping it and not giving it to the state, then someone may get in trouble. I kind of doubt they are doing that though. I think it is simply not knowing the state laws on bullion sales.
