Thanks.. I thought it would as the 2x (as you said) did, but I was not sure
it would automaticlly be the same.

Your concern raises a good point. Casinos can get in trouble with the
gaming board though if they play tricks with the wording of their
promo literature. If precedent exists for terminology used in their
literature then they have to abide by it unless they explicitly define
terms in their literature. That's not to say that MS wouldn't produce
unclear literature unintentionally.
I just had a tiff with MS over the meaning of "must be present"
regarding the Sunday ticket drawing. Like most reasonable people I
interpret this requirement to mean "must be present in the casino".
But that's not it according to MS. What they intend it to mean is
"must be present in the casino and within earshot of PA
announcements". That's an important distinction because the
announcements cannot be heard from all areas within the casino, such
as Don & Mikes for example. They either need to make the requirement
more explicit or give folks the chance to check on their own if their
name had been called. I think they could very well be in a grey area
as far as gaming board regulations go on drawings. Simply stating the
requirement clearly and concisely would've eliminated any potential
headaches. Like the one I'm about to give them.
In general if you apply a reasonability test to anything a casino puts
in print you should be ok because they have to abide by gaming board
regulations and thus have an incentive to avoid generating complaints.

Several weeks ago I was in Mike & Don's during a drawing, I asked the
bartender if I would be able to hear the drawing results, he gave the
typical MS employee response, " What drawing?" I then asked him to
notify someone that I would be playing at Mike & Don's and would
appreciate hearing the results. They sent a Host to the room and he
wrote down the name of everyone in the room who was participating in
the drawing, and monitored the results for us. I was under the
understanding that they would do this in the future since they knew
the results could not be heard at Don & Mike's

This is truly outrageous. The problem I report as it turns out is
known to MS, they deal with it on the first complaint, but then just
drop it?? And now I can't get anyone at MS connected with the drawing
to answer my phone calls. WTF! MS better wake up because they're
precipitously close to a gaming board complaint.

I've been informed by MS that anyone entered in the drawing and seated
in Don & Mike's should give their name to the bartender who will be
getting the info from the drawing while it is in progress. Also the
3-5 minute response requirement will be waived for anyone in Don &
Mike's provided they give their name to the bartender. MS acknowledged
that hearing the names in Don & Mike's is a problem and until a PA
system is installed the above procedure will be followed. Not sure why
they can't extend the ship wide PA through the already existing audio
of all the monitors, but until that happens there is at least some way
for patrons to find out if their name was called.
