As it turns out, we were sent a 2X offer and a 5X offer ( for different dates). You're supposed to get one or the other but not both. Somehow, we were coded for the 2X and not the 5X. We called Jessica and explained and straightened out the whole thing. We are going to play a little this morning. I'll update tonight on what happens for today's play. I'm confident all will be well.
At Harrah's they have a bank of 'rapid progressive' video poker machines on the 3rd floor, near where the vp tourneys are held. They are triple play quarters with 6/5 DDB, 7/5/4 DB, 10-8-4-3-2-2-1 Deuces and 6/5 JOB. Now, the interesting part is there is a progressive but only for dealt hands, quads and above , less the straight flush. Here were the meter readings yesterday:
RF $22,880
Aces/ kicker $4625
Aces/ no kicker $1980
4 2-4 w/kicker $1590
4 2-4/no kicker $915
Quads $300 ( non progressive)
I did a quick calc on 6/5 JOB and found the base game ( 6/5 JOB) is 95%. The dealt bonuses add 4.4% for a 99.4% over all payback with a variance of 6 zillion.
Don't know what the meter is or what the progressive reset is.
