5Dimes VP

I count the number of hands played - up to 5 hands on the 5 fingers on my left hand. Then transfer the count to a tally sheet.
Some casinos keep track of your points, most don't.
It's only a problem if you have a beer in your left hand, but I expect your left hand could be trained to multitask.
Does anyone use other counting techniques?
I considered using the Ken Uston method of keeping the ace count on your feet - up to 8 aces on each foot for multi-deck blackjack games. But that's more complicated - one of the reasons I switched to VP.

I won't continue to keep track at 5Dimes since there is no bonus at stake.

How do you guys know how many hands you've played?

Impossible to not make this sound like sour grapes, but I've been playing professional-level blackjack for more than ten years, and have put in thousands of hours. I've never seen so many dealer 21s as I've seen at 5dimes in the last week, playing the single-deck standard game. I don't have hand histories -- all I can say is that I know blackjack as well as I'll ever know anything, and I simply don't/can't believe that the deal is fair at 5dimes. I'm not talking about a losing streak -- those are a dime a dozen. I'm talking about dealer totals of 21. At one point I kept a hand tally, and of 50 hands where the dealer drew a card, 14 ended up as 21s. I'm not going to bother to find the t-stat of that, as I don't really want/need to know.

Your mileage may vary, but my girlfriend and I have been playing FPDW for the same week, and neither of us have hit deuces or a RF -- but that's pretty clearly too small a sample. Just one man's experience.

I can't say too much about 5Dimes. They were running a 2-1 BJ promo on
Fridays, I couldn't be moved to make a deposit. I do have one CR
casino on my site, Bodog, and I personally have had great results
playing on it. I trust RTG, they're an American company, based in
Atlanta. I don't see their RNG program being torqued. But as for Costa
Rican casinos, either online, or live and in color, well, like Jake
LaMotta, Paladin hears things...as one friend whose opinion I respect
greatly notes: "it looks like 2-1 BJ, doesn't it?"

I would advise players to avoid Bodog until Calvin Ayre, their owner,
gets his current legal situation resolved. He was arrested by CRican
authorities about a week ago.

It's been resolved from what I understand, or at least likely will be.
Bodog is also licensed in the UK, and AFAIAC, that's the license that
really matters. If need be, they can always relocate there.
