Yes, that's essentially correct, although it is difficult to play 500
hands per hour on a 50 play machine. I find 300 - 400 hph to be more
realistic, which implies a royal roughly every 2 - 2.5 hours. Of
course, they don't follow a nice, neat schedule like this. You will
sometimes play a 50 play machine for 12 hours straight and not hit a
single royal. Other times you'll hit 3 or 4 at once off of a dealt 4
cards to a royal. Then the next time you get dealt 4 cards to a
royal you might whiff entirely. And if you're very lucky, you may
get 50 royals all at once
