50-Play/100-Play Machines

I have actually had people standing behind me and
being superstitous I merely stop playing and turn
around and stare back at them. After a few awkward
seconds of this they get the hint and move on.

I have never had this problem playin 50/100 play at the Atlantis reno,
maybe because they have a lot of machines so i always find one or i am
so dense i dont notice' but i am a 50ish male who has worn his hair
VERY long since puberty so being stared at is not that unusal for me.

I did once have a player next to me playin 1 penny per line, 100 total
or $1 bet, ask me "why are you playin 5 coins per line , are you
stupid?" I replied no, because my job as a bill collector specialising
in PAST DUE CHILD SUPPORT ( yes i did get a little loud) allows me too
BOB. (I overheard his name when he sat down} The fact i knew his name
shook him, The boy left real quick! :wink:

I like players who play short coins, increase in machine hold might
help keep FP games on them,

in order to attend your daughter's graduation. I'm sure you won't
regret this decision.

My husband has been forced to give up his very favorite baseball
series of the summer, between his beloved Cubs & the hated (and
feared) White Sox, in order to attend our Grandson's law school
graduation in NYC. He has graciously acquiesed to some gentle
nagging from various family members, and we ARE going to NY.

I must tell you, however, about an aquaintance of my husband, who
was not quite so self-sacrificing. Tom was a lifelong, diehard
Red Sox fan. He had 2 seats in the front row, at Fenway park, for
over 30 years. At one of the Red Sox/St Louis World Series games,
he was in his seat at Fenway, with an empty seat next to him. After
a couple of innings, the fellow sitting on the other side of him
commented that it was a shame that such an expensive and desirable
seat was not being used. Tom explained that it was his late wife's
seat. The other fellow expressed sympathy and then inquired why he
hadn't asked someone else to go with him to the game. Tom replied
that he had invited every friend and family member to accompany him,
but that they were all going to his wife's funeral. (-:

I treasure them all the more when playing a progressive!

I once found myself playing on a bank with an extraordinarily strong
meter that had somehow totally fallen under the typical "semipro"
radar. Still, at least half the seats were filled more often than
not -- largely by short-coin players! Were it not for the free
cocktail service, I'd gladly have bought them a round of drinks while
they fed the jackpot meter.
