My record Keeping is pretty accurate. I chart every days play as I have done for
he last 7 years. Math is one thing, reality is another.
Although I did not chart all the misses, I lost count around April at 350. There
was on week I remember I had 35 whiffs for about 15 hours of play. That is way
over the average.

Hopefully I a can hit a few before the end of the year and change my luck.....
Thanks for all the number crunching.

Don't know how many hands an hour you play, but even if I give you 1200 an hour, the number of 4RFs you'd expect to get is less than 7 in 15 hours of play. You are apparently incredibly lucky to get so many chances, and incredibly unlucky not to hit them. But, as I just posted, rare events can occur - rarely.

However, also as per my previous post, while the volume of play needed to get that many 4RFs is very high, but possible, it is not consistent with the above report of a week of play with 15 hours put in -- many more hours per week are needed to get that many 4RFs -- unless, of course, every 15 hour stretch is equally lucky and gets over five times as many 4RFs as predicted!

Or maybe you're playing SO fast that some of your 4RFs are not all the same suit, which would account for not hitting the royals (joking).

Back in August I posted my long streak of not making a 4 to the royal on $1VP, well the streak has been broken just today. It lasted 12 months.

I also hit 2 more $1 royals last week, one flopped and a 2 draw. Before last week my last $1 royal was 2/26/09........

Got you beat; I've been two year w/o a R. Wish I would have counted
the 4's to the R I've had. I prob don't play much as most of you,
although I playedore than ever this year when, I made about 6 trips to
Vegas and played an average of 15.5 hrs per trip so about 100 hrs.
However, I play nothing but. Dble BP on 10/7 machines (where you would
hold AK3 suited e.g.) so pretty hard to hit one that way. Ugh. It's a
tough way to make a living.
