Motor City is offering 3X points this month on Tuesdays and Wednesday.
I didn't see anything about excluding Video Poker.
This should make at least some games positive. Anybody taking advantage of this promotion?

I got the same type of offer from Greektown, but it said, "excluding video poker." Although I'm not crazy about playing at MC, I just might start going there again if that offer is true.

Not much to play at Motor City. The same thinking goes for the Casino Windsor 20x reward credits offer. Playing a bunch of 96-97% video poker to earn reward credits that MIGHT be worth 2% is not a good deal.

Motor city does have 9/6 JOB 99.54% at the .25/.25/.50/$1/$2 level, also on Spin poker, and also on Supertimes pay spin poker, so this could be a potential good play, especially if you hit them up at the 10-play games !!!!! They also have 2 new Random Reward VP games that have 9/6 JOB, and 9/6 DBL, DBL and 8/5 Bonus poker at 3/5 play and maybe even at 10-play, (not sure), but I'll check on Friday.
The rules of the triple cash back state, earn between Oct 6 - Oct 12 Tuesday-Thursday, and accumulate 500 or more points in 1 day by playing PARTICIPATING SLOT MACHINES.... (so who knows if the VP is even included) and receive 2 additional PRIZE points per 1 point earned.
Then there is a POINT REDEMPTION PERIOD to get back this cash that you earn and it's only on Tues-Thursday from 11/3-11/12.
Points not redeemed after 11:59pm on 11/12 will be VOID !
Sounds like it's not just a simple 3 x cash back, you earn and take it immediately, but there are lots of rules to meet.

While I was there on Friday I visited the player's club and asked which machines were excluded and if VP was included in this promo and was told that VP does count for the 3 x multiplier. What is not included are the video BJ and roulette games where you get to put your card in the reader and play.
If you swipe your card at one of the kiosk, it will tell you how much you have coming back in triple play cash back so far in November to redeem when you can actually go and download it then and either play on it, or just take it then. At least that's what my card said, but what was strange, I didn't play on Tuesday/Wednesday yet during the promo, but it showed the 3x cash that was available for me to pick up..... so I'm not sure if they started it up earlier but I had some cash coming back like $54 and I never played during the promo yet, so I don't know if it was a mistake, but I did play the week before it started....
