Does anyone know the ev or stratregy for these games? I know the
Palms and Gold Coast have these games. In the game you get paid on
the 5-card deal, the draw (which makes a new 5 card hand plus 2
additional cards), and then the final 7-card draw. My experience on
these machines has been good. You have a shot at big hands plus nice
hand saving opportunities on the final 5/7 card hand...a 5 card flush
on the final 7 cards covers all 3 bets. The somewhat ambiguous over
100% signs are on these machines...or is it referrring to the
machines on the other side?

I think the 3 Way-Action Poker machines at the Palms are back to
back with the Deuces machines that have the 100% signs, if you are
talking about the machines near the cashier windows.

I have not played 3 Way-Action Poker in a few months, but as I
recall, the machines offered a menu of games, like Jacks or Better,
Bonus, Double Bonus, etc; so it would seem that the strategies for
those games would apply to 3 Way.
And it is as you describe: 3 separate games and decisions. Which to
me is part of the reason that no casino would consider offering a
100% or higher version.

I don't recall the exact paytables, since I have only found these
machines in Vegas. The neat thing about the game is that rather than
adding to the volatility the third 7=card hand seems to act like nice
hedge... a 5 of 7 flush or full house will cover and I think turn a
small profit even when the first two hands are losers plus I once got
a 7-card straight flush for 8,000 credits!
