3/24 meet

We had a good turn out today. There were 10 of us:

Terry and Delores
Tom and Donise and Donise's mom
Pony Tail Bob
Ann Arbor Bob
UBT Brian
John and Peggy

I got an email at 4:30 PM from Steve saying that he may not make it. We will catch you next time, Steve.

It was reported that the cash back on the some of the video poker machines has been reduced to .133 from .167 . A 20% reduction is quite a bit. It was also reported that comps accrue at a rate less than cash back. Comps had traditionally been 3 times cashback. It was even reported that way on a billboard a while ago. It was further reported that comps periodically disappear and you can have a negative comp balance. All very confusing and frustrating.

Steve , perhaps you can shed some light on this.

Also, if you have any news on the video poker tournaments or 9/6 double double bonus progressive that we had discussed at previous meets, that would be great.

We will probably meet up again in May. Since most of us have MGM calendars , we might meet at MGM next time and use the free buffet coupons.

Finally, has anyone heard from Preston??

Oh, one more thing. On the bill for Fishbones, was the tip included in the bill? I saw $227 and I thought that was the total for food and tax but no tip. If so, we did ok.

Johnny,

It was fun. And, the waiter made it a point to inform us that the tip
was not included in the bill. I don't have a MGM calendar, but no
problem. I'll be happy to pay for the buffet for Dolores and me.

Terry

Terry,

Glad to hear you enjoyed yourself and that the bill was calculated
correctly. Peg said they make have tacked on the tip since it was a big
group.

As for MGM, stop by the booth and ask for a calendar. They were pretty
liberal about giving them out. The calendar is worth about $120
throughout the year. Well worth picking up next time you are in town.
Have Mrs. Pappy pick one up as well.
