25c Video Poker Game Comps

Which off-strip casinos give the best comps? I'll be coming into LV by
car and will stay for a week. Games? JOB, DB, DDB... Wes

I'd suggest that the South Point would be one good choice. (See my
recent "Trip Report"). Lovely reasonably-priced rooms, plenty of
full-pay & high-pay 25c VP games, and points are earned on the
full-pay machines the same as on the others.

The Fiesta also has great 25c VP, reasonable room rates, and is always
giving away stuff, if you want toasters and such.

Hello, also interested in this subject. Will be flying in for a week
for CES, staying downtown at the Four Queens. I am a VP newbie, so I
will probably stick to JoB as it is the first game I am learning. Not
expecting to come home a winner, but hopefully get a fair amount of
play and free drinks for my money, and maybe some comps.

It would be a good idea for you to learn DB. 4 Queens have 10-7 DB

prog.

Hi,

We just returned from 5 nights in Las Vegas. We liked the comps we hot
from South Point. They had a lots of VP machines over 99% and a few
that were full pay although these machines were really slowed down.
All machines were giving you $1 in for 1 point. The Stations Casinos
had full pay machines but you had to put in $4 dollars for 1 point.
Also your points at South Point were worth 3 times as much and also
eligible for cash back. We even had 2x and 3x point days so our comps
and cash back built up quickly.

Hope this helps.

South Point usually has only one or two 2x points days a month, and
these are generally on the major holidays. Very occasionaly, they will
have 3x points.

This year the January days are 2x on New Year's Day (1/1) and 2x on
Martin Luther King Day (Monday 1/19).

I see that last year they offered 3x points on St. Patrick's Day (3/17).

Thank you! I guess I should have checked there first, but it seems
like that type of information is rarely provided by casinos in such a
straightforward way!
