Speaking of good progressives, there's one right now that I CAN'T play. Before the government did its thing in 2006, I used to play the 25-cents 9-6 JoB progressive online that was called MegaJacks, on the Playtech Software. Right now it's at over $3600. Wow! And being an American, I can't play it. This SUCKS! lol
I bet even Frank would play this one. Let's see, I'll check my WinPoker software. Wow! Comes in at 105.85% <sigh>

I don't know, and I would not know how to learn that information without asking them. But I remember once, several years ago when I could play it, I saw the thing get up to like $5500, and I was so surprised. In fact, I think I mentioned this before on this board, maybe when I first joined.
Anyway, last night's $4900+ must have been close to a record. And obviously there's a lot of people playing it when it gets big. I just figured it doesn't get as much action now that Americans cannot play it. But it got plenty of action last night.
And I might add, in the old days, when I played it, there were bonuses handed out by some of the casinos. They still hand out bonuses, but it doesn't work quite like it did back then, and I think now they all exclude video poker play from qualifying for the bonus. Those were the good old days. It will never be like that again.
Reminiscing of playing online almost makes me want to move to Canada. But it will come back here someday, I feel confident of that.
