Dave thanks for the information. The changes are making it unnecessary to strive for a higher level. How ridiculous is that? You are correct in that they should talk to some REAL casino people about what they are doing. Really? No more cheap wine with dinner? What does that cost them-$10-$20 bucks? Truly pennywse and pound foolish!

Yes, cutting the wine was stupid. For example my wife likes and always ordered Beringer White Zinfandel wine. When we were at our house in Las Vegas in March we were in a local supermarket and they had it on sale for two bottles for $7 plus 20% off all wine, so each bottle was $2.80! I assume a big company like NCL can buy it as cheap as this supermarket can sell it.

Fortunately we still got wine with the Latitude’s free dinners and since we only drink about 1/2 bottle each dinner that gave us 4 nights of a little wine for each of the cruises.

The fact that the second and third largest stock owners of NCL are Apollo and TPG (same owners as Caesars) makes all their cutbacks make sense since the timing of both NCL and Caesars huge cutbacks in benefits to their gamblers has happened at almost the exact same time.
