2012 vpFREE Hall of Fame Election

I voted for Frank Kneeland. These is my reasoning---
a. wrote great book , exposing a lot of the secrets of organized tiger teams and VP pros
b. the world of progressives is still a mystery to John Q public. The pro smarties would like to keep it that way, but Frank bucked the trend and exposed a lot of this. He's not as active on vpfree anymore, cause he made a lot of enemies with his expose's.
c. Frank did an excellent job on his VP , ground breaking , radio show.
d. Frank was an outstanding advocate ( and public too which seperates him from the dark corner artists like Tuna ) for progressive VP's and how they could mutually benefit both casino and AP's. I met Frank at the M, when they had a great set of Gangbuster Progressives. It didn't work out there due to a poor upper management decision - but a noble try.

Perhaps the top five vote totals could go to a runoff where say then if someone gets 33% they are in. (but this would involve the extra work of a 2nd election)

I voted for Frank too. I think a hall of fame in anything should include the best players at a given thing, and that's pretty much it. In vp best player means makes the most money. I don't have ledgers in front of me, but after reading frank's book, he has to be one of the most financially successful players in vp history. The campaign for Hans Lund made me think about it, but I honestly have no idea what percentage of his winnings come from video poker.

Frank is a friend and colleague and worthy of consideration for the HOF. If being financially successful is your criteria, however, choose somebody else. Accumulating money has never been a priority for Frank, and frankly, he's not very good at it. Bob
